  1. Campaign Logo Design for ARCADE Magazine

This was a collaborative project where I worked in a team to design a campaign for a client from ARCADE magazine. My task was to create the logo for this campaign. Our campaign design was a very open task and we were given a lot of freedom to design whatever campaign we liked, as long as it empahsized print and the love of print. Our group wanted to create a campaign that did that, but also highly emphasized the urban and local aspect of ARCADE, which is based in Seattle, Washington, where we can emphasize the relationship between the love of print and how this connects to their roots.

  9. Matrix Board Game

This project was a collaborative assignment for a real client and work with other designers. This client was a professor for a religion class on religions in Korea and Japan and he wanted us to design a map for a board game he will be using to engage learning in his class and that will allow the players to use their knowledge of the history and religions of Korea and Japan to make actions. My work was mainily in the map layout (the two big circles) and the compass rose in the center. For the maps, I wanted to stick to a more saturated color pallet and gather inspiration from the actual historical locations and architecture of the time period. This was done enitirely through letterpress and I actually set the type in a circle and die-cutted on a press. For this project, I had to create my own buisness card. It was a challenge in terms of created something simple that folded and learning to do letterpress and set type by hand for the first time.
